Overview & Key Benefits

A New Standard in Foot Temperature Research

21-Sensor Temperature Mapping

Gain ultra-detailed thermal patterns from across the foot. Each Senstep insole features 21 sensors, capturing comprehensive temperature data in critical regions.

Compact, Lightweight Design

At only 1.4 mm thick and weighing under 50 grams, Senstep fits discreetly into standard footwear without interfering with movement or comfort.

Dynamic Data Acquisition

Continuous dynamic temperature data acquisition, providing insights in real-life scenarios for accurate and meaningful analysis.

Intuitive Mobile App

Our companion software provides an easy-to-navigate interface for data visualisation and analysis. Effortlessly manage large datasets, compare sessions, and generate meaningful insights.

Flexible Data Access & Seamless Export

Retrieve readings via Bluetooth® on demand, or review stored data at your convenience. Download results in CSV or JSON formats for integration with your existing research workflows.

Research Applications

Senstep is tailor-made to support a variety of research domains:

01

Diabetic Foot Research

Investigate thermal asymmetries that may indicate early signs of complications. High-resolution data reveal subtle temperature changes that could signal impending ulcers.

02

Sports Science & Recovery

Explore how the foot regulates temperature before, during, and after exertion. Measure how athletic footwear or recovery protocols influence in-shoe conditions.

03

Rehabilitation & Mobility Studies

Use temperature variations as biomarkers for post-injury recovery. Monitor how gait changes or therapeutic interventions affect foot health over time.

04

Footwear Design & Ergonomics

Test how different materials, insoles, and constructions influence foot temperature and comfort in real-world settings.

05

Geriatric Foot Health Research

Assess temperature data to uncover unique patterns in older adult populations, where foot complications are often under-researched.
